This play, found by sheer luck after it was long forgotten over a decade ago, has been waiting patiently for its time in the spotlight. From the big deals – like finding the right director, stage manager, and cast – to the small deals – like prop shopping at Goodwill and looking down to find the perfect Jasper bag sitting at my feet, the process has been blessed with an amazing synchronicity. My only job was to let go of my constant fretting and allow this buried show to find its way back to its purpose. As an anxiety-riddled person the concept of letting go is challenging. Yet the more I let go, the more things fells into place. I couldn’t be more thankful to all of the people willing to help out at a moment’s notice. Eternal gratitude to Ted, the fabulous cast and the kick-ass crew for saying, “Why not?” and bravely jumping in.
